Harro studied at Rijksuniversiteit Leiden and the University of Connecticut School of Law and was sworn in as a lawyer in 1997. In 2002, he did a postgraduate in Mergers and Acquisitions at the Grotius Academy. Harro started his career at Baker & McKenzie. He subsequently joined Greenberg Traurig as a lawyer-shareholder and before he met up with Van Oosten and De Korte (the predecessor firm of OSK), he was a partner at RechtStaete Amsterdam.
As a corporate lawyer with more than twenty years of experience, Harro focuses mainly on company law and business law relating to a variety of transactions. He also litigates regularly in company law disputes and commercial contracts. The parties that Harro assists are mostly businesses, shareholders, investment companies and private investors active in divergent sectors with an emphasis on the Media, Entertainment, E-commerce, Tech, Retail and Defence industries.
