Dinya Torny studied Dutch law at Utrecht University, earning degrees in both Criminal Law and Law and Business. During her studies, she worked at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Zutphen, where she assessed criminal cases. After completing her studies, she worked as a legal consultant, gaining a wealth of experience in various areas of law. Dinya has been with OSK since January 2011. She represents private individuals and international companies and their managing directors who are facing criminal law or administrative law measures imposed by the government. Her practice focuses primarily on general criminal law, as well as economic and environmental offences.

Dinya Torny has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

• General criminal law
• Financial and Economic crimes
• Fiscal Criminal Law
• Juvenile criminal law
• Environmental offences (including those under the Dutch Major Accidents (Risks) Decree (Brzo)
• Extradition law

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
