Jaimy Karstens obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Amsterdam, followed by master’s degrees in both Criminal Law and Tax Law. Her legal career began with an internship at OSK Advocaten, where she further developed her knowledge and passion for the profession. After her internship, she continued to work at OSK as a legal secretary and subsequently as a legal assistant. In addition, she gained valuable practical experience during the Amsterdam Law Firm minor, where she was able to put the theoretical knowledge from her bachelor’s degree into practice. Thanks to these diverse experiences, Jaimy has developed into a driven and skilled lawyer who approaches legal issues with an innovative and pragmatic approach.

Since 2024, Jaimy has been working as a lawyer at OSK Advocaten, specializing in common criminal law (including sexual offenses and violent crimes). You can also contact her if you have any administrative and/or criminal law questions about your driver’s license or obtaining a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

She is registered with the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA) in the main field of criminal law. Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits in this field each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the NOvA.
